We hope you all had a lovely Easter break and had some time to relax with family and friends. We were blessed with good weather too!
We recently held our Management Essentials – newly qualified’s course, at Hunton Park and below is some of the feedback from delegates;
“It was really good to learn about the different management styles and in particular find out my own management attributes. This has helped me to identify areas I have strengths in and especially areas I need to improve. This should allow me to push myself out of my comfort zone going forward to reach the next level. Also, I was never bored and enjoyed the level of interaction throughout all three days.” Will Chisholm
‘I found the Management Essentials training course very beneficial, and I learnt some important skills not only about different types of management and how to implement them to tasks and projects, but I also learnt what kind of ‘manager’ I am and how I can develop those skills further and how to work on skills you may not have implemented before. Frances’ training sessions were not only informative and helpful, they were also fun which really helped with keeping everyone engaged over the 3 days.’’ Michael Bissett
“I found the course to be engaging, informative and useful; as well as giving us conceptual information and providing the opportunity to see it in practice with the group work, there was also a focus on how we might practically apply it to our own roles. The structure of the course was good, it felt like there was a suitable balance of presentation and group activities which kept us involved. There was plenty of opportunity for us to give feedback, ask questions and focus in on certain aspects we found interesting, but without feeling like we were getting side-tracked or over-running as a result. Everything was clearly presented and easy to understand, and felt relevant to my role.” John Hearn
‘Useful and insightful. Not only showed the different management styles that exist, but how to identify which to use the get the best out of specific people. Learnt a lot about work and about myself. You can tell Frances has a lot of experience in not only management but also developing interpersonal skills that help at every level of a career.’ Michael Bradley
